Cyprus - Beautiful Island Holidays

I'm passing some relaxing days in Cyprus at the moment. One of the most memorable thing I've done so far in this holiday was a little tour we made with a local guide. We drove in a Jeep up to the hills and we've got the chance to see the untouched nature with wild goats and sheeps and an incredible view from above. Our guide showed us all the plants growing wildly or cultivated like sesam, orange trees, bananas and the most exceptional for me - the avocado trees. I'm such an avocado lover, to see how these fruits grow was special to me.
Our guide was full of stories about the island and the culture. I think it's been a long time since I've learned so much about a country in one day. One of the more touristic things - but all tough a personal highlight was the visit of a turtle farm on the island. I even had the chance to hold a baby turtle for a few seconds. They try to force the conservation of the turtles on the island. If you are following @bonsoircherieblog on instagram you will find a lot more pictures from my stay on this beautiful island and of course the one with the baby turtle.

As the coast are incredibly beautiful I tried to take some pictures. Not very easy to break the holiday feeling for photographing. Thanks mom for your patience.
