Stockholm Streetstyle #2

Another Streetstyle from Stockholm. As you can probably guess from the look it was pretty cold.
We shot these pictures just before we went to the museum of modern art where an exhibition of Olafur Eliasson was shown. He does beautiful installations with using light and colors. If you are around you shouldn't miss it. And when you are hungry after the exhibition there is Café Blum in the museum which has some amazing pastry.

We've had a quite short stay in Stockholm but tried to make to most out of it. As it was freezing cold we had to find some interior activations. So beside the Museum visit we went to a very traditional bath in the center of Stockholm called Centralbadet. It was quite an experience but if you rather prefer something more "fancy" you should try the rooftop spa at Clarion hotel. They have a pool with a view over the city which is beautiful at night.

At night we went for dinner at Riche and had the most delicious gambas ever. You better reserve a table in advance to make sure you don't have to wait.
There is as well an opera in Stockholm if you are into opera and ballet you should check in advance what they play. We were returning one day to early for a very nice ballet so we'll make sure to look it up in advance the next time.

Fashion Detox

To walk around the hills of Tenerife I've to put on my favorite outfit:
Jeans, T-Shirt and Sneakers. My perfect travel outfit to escape from the fashion and blogosphere for a little while.
As a Fashionblogger most of the people ask you first about the size of your wardrobe. I have to admit then that I neither have an own room for my clothes nor countless pieces in my possession.
Especially in holidays I love to travel light. As I lately went surfing on all my latest holidays I adapted my wardrobe to that. You don't need much more than some casual clothes to make a bit of a fashion detox and just feel comfortable. Find some nice basics here at c-and-a.com for your next casual outfit.

I'm wearing:

Denims: C&A
Sneakers: Nike International
Biker Leather Jacket: H&M Dragon Tattoo Collection - similar here
Sunglasses: Illesteva

Story Hotel and Stockholm Streetstyle

Dear Readers

I hope all of you have had an excellent start into the New Year! My best wishes for all of you. May it be a wonderful one.

The last days of 2015 passed by so quickly. Togehter with a friend I was in Stockholm for the very first time in the end of December. When we arrived it was all white and still snowing what made us super happy. So the next days we walked through the beautiful nordic winter wonderland.
We did plenty of shopping and discovered amazing restaurants thanks to our local friend who was as kind to show us around.

We stayed in downtown Stockholm in the beautiful Story Hotel
Very nice rooms with drawings on the walls and kind of a loft atmosphere. If you plan a trip to Sweden you should definitely check this place out. The outfit pictures below where shot in the area in front of their hotel bar. (Which serves amazing drinks by the way)
They offer all the commodities you need as a frequent traveller. Super comfy bed, nice bathroom, save big enough for laptop and camera equipment and a strong wifi.

We were mostly eating during our time in Stockholm. I mean - there were so many possibilies we just couldn't resist.

My first favorite is the Urban Deli  - a place were you can have a drink at the bar and some appetizers or sit in the restaurant area and order main menues. And right next to it there is a little deli shop where you can buy vegan chocolate(most important thing - and why not try the healthy version for once) and a lot of other good stuff. The one we've been to is near Götgatan the shopping street kind of a NY Soho feeling. The area is called SOFO

Right next to it was the Restaurant  Nytorget 6

After drinks and appetizers in the Urban Deli we went accross the street to Nytorget 6 for dinner. It was excellent. You rather book your table in advance because it's always packed. They have amazing seafood almost everywhere in the city.

More about where to eat in Stockholm will come in a further post - with another Stockholm Streetstyle!
