Cozy Sightseeing Look

I'm wearing a very cozy freepeople jumpsuit for some sightseeing in rome. We really walked a lot - the best way to discover the city. So if you're going to rome better bring your sneakers instead of some flat sandals as I did..

When in Rome: Vatican and sistine chapel - wearing an all white look and internationalist sneakers

As a art history student I had to see the vatican museums and the sistine chapel. We headed to the St.Peters place and we were quite shocked about the queuing line. They told us we need to wait about three hours in total. So we decided to get a fast lane ticket which was a little bit expensive - but for me totally worth the price. Whit this ticket we went right into the museum and afterwards directly to the chapel. But we were a bit in a hurry and the museum was unbelievably crowded. A lot of thing were just hidden behind all the visitors and you always had to be careful not to loose the guide. After the tour we spent some time alone in the museum strolling around the less popular rooms and they're so beautiful. All the ceilings were painted with such detailed figures and pattern - we could have spent hours in there. In a next post I'm gonna show you some pictures of the museum - we were even able to get some outfit pictures in there.

I am wearing:

Maxiskirt with flower embroidery: Zara
Tanktop with twisted back: Zara
Sneakers with Neon Details : Nike International
Mirrored Sunglasses: Zara - find some by Marc Jacobs on Shopbop
Necklace with Cube Pendants: Brandy Melville - find a similar one on Shopbop

And this beautiful white MG was just standing in a street close by the vatikan - would have loved to just hop in and drive away... If you follow me on instagram @bonsoircherieblog you can discover a picture of me with this beauty.

Rome - dolce vita and romantic dresses

(Deutsche Version unten)
One more entry about rome. We spent some beautiful days in the end of august in Rome. Seeing my friend after a long time of absence at the train station was a memorable moment. We lived in a hotel in the area around the termini train station - where you arrive with the train from the airport. Many of the sightseeing spots were easily reachable by foot from this point. We walked about 7 hours per day and discovered the city. I couldn't get enough from the beauty of the old charismatic buildings, the soft light and the enormous history which stays behind all these landmarks.
When I first walked down the stairs on our way to the city center entering the piazza venezia I found myself surrounded by the forum romanum and the altare della patria and for me the most wonderful combination: some pine trees rising in the sky between all those massive history documents.

We could have shot pictures for the blog on every corner - but we choose sightseeing first.
We even met a very charming roman lady - she showed us some beautiful places and gave us a lot of tips what to visit in rome. Unfortunately there wasn't roughly enough time to get to see everything on the list. So there is another reason to come back. Thank you Marta! We met over instagram - so hey social media really are connecting people somehow. (Follow me @bonsoircherieblog)

I am wearing a skirt which reminds me on recent Dolce Gabbana Collections. With the Italians sitting outside in the garden. They have those black lace dresses which are just incredibly beautiful. I found the skirt at the local H&M store which differs quite a lot from the ones in Zurich. Shame on us we also checked out the chains that exist in our country as well - but it was worth it this time.
I always have my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Bag with me. I've got them in white and black - they just fit every outfit and do have the perfect size.
I'll try to make a little list with must sees in the next entry about rome.
