Healthy and delicious Lunch Spot in Zurich - Juicery 21

If it comes to food I can easily get addicted. The Juicery 21 is one of the spots you'd love to have next to your office.
Very cool industrial interior and beside the fresh pressed juices they offer delicious small meals like Salmon Avocado Bagles or Acai bowls. And you get an amazing coffee in there.
I'm there regularly to work on my blog posts and hang out with friends.
Can only recommend this place.

Time to prepare the weekend - Partying with Cîroc

It is already Thursday - so time to plan the weekend activities.

All you need is a proper drink and the right outfit.
I recently got my hands on the Cîroc Blue Steel Ultra Premium Vodka
I am not a big drinker, but I really like to mix a nice cocktail if friends come over to my place before going out. So this is why I prefer some high quality booze over others.
At the moment I love to prepare Moscow Mule with the Cîroc Vodka.
You just mix Vodka, Ginger Beer, a bit of Limejuice and fresh Peppermint together.
Cheers!

If it comes to the party outfit there needs to be done a little effort. I am normally the super casual person and like wearing Jeans and T-Shirt. But sometimes you have to dress up. Always feel a bit strange in high heels and dresses - but in the end it's nice to also experience a different way of dressing.

So here are my two current favorite looks if it comes to clubbing/partying.
I prefer some decent make up - don't want to look like you fell in your shades palette. And as I am lazy I mostly keep my hair natural with soft waves.

Pimp my Morning - How to survive a Monday Morning

Happy Monday Morning everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Never easy to get up on a Monday morning.
I am personally not at all a morning person. There is nothing better than to sleep in. Unfortunately that's not often the case anymore. I mean - you want to use the time you've got in the weekend to do all the activities you've planned, right? So the only way is to improve your handling with sleep and getting up.

So here is my personal guide to have a happier morning.
The art to start better into the day.

Preparations start in the evening before:

First rule - go to bed early. Even if you are never tired in the evening - go to sleep. You will thank yourself in the morning. Night-owls will realize that the morning can be merrier if you slept more than 5 or 6 hours. I am still working on this.

In the morning - don't snooze. It will make you even more tired. Open the window and the blinds and get up immediately.

Put on some joyful music in the morning. It will brighten up your mind. Some happy sound always helps. I am a big lover of piano and saxophone tunes.

And then it comes to my personal favorite. Get yourself a coffee. As I really am a coffee addict it happens that I already look forward to my morning coffee in the evening before.

I got the chance to try out the Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine and I am amazed by the easy way you can get yourself a perfect cappuchino. The design reminds me a bit of R2D2 of Star Wars so this even makes me happy as well in the morning. You only have to fill in the water, put in the capsules and your coffee will be prepared magically. Check out the magic machines here. Mine is called Stelia.

So have a happy day and enjoy your coffees!

Dreaming of the Ocean - My Beach Essentials

As everyone I love long weekends at the beach. Only problem is, there is no beach in Switzerland. Or at least none with an ocean. But happy us we have some public holidays and I mostly take the chance to get closer to my favorite place - the ocean.
To shorten the waiting a bit, I've put together some of my favorites I would love to take with me.
I mean - who doesn't need an ice-cream truck bag?

I wish you a lovely evening - keep dreaming of the ocean.

A splash of spring with Carven

After a delicious brunch at one of my favorite places in Zurich - the Maison Blunt - we shot one of the very first spring outfits for the blog.
I love the area - so many nice coffee places and restaurants. The one the background of the pictures is called Times and it has also Smiths Winebar included. Nice industrial interior and delicious food.

The dress is from Carven for La Redoute and the new favorite in my wardrobe. I love the colors and the plissee. Definitely gonna wear it a lot in summer. I'll just dress it down with converse or flat sandals for a more easy going look.
I really can't wait for summertime anymore. Still trying to escape the cold with as many weekends abroad as possible. If you check my instagram it looks like I am constantly in holidays as I am daydreaming of the latest trips until we finally can make it to the next one..

But for now enjoy this wonderful sunday and let's hope spring is going to stay and summer will come soon.
Have a happy day!
